Sailing Between Screenings

Steve's Lakeside Cabin
LAKE LANIER, GA. Yesterday was our free day between screenings, and we certainly made the most of it. Walking into my old friend Steve's cabin on Lake Lanier brought back many memories of past sailing trips with friends and family, and all of the experiences shared throughout the  years.

Steve and his father took us out sailing on the lake in his wonderful sailboat The Wavelength. I grew up sailing, so it was like being back in my element again. Being out on the water was a great way to clear my head and de-stress before the next screening.

We drove into Atlanta and met up with another old friend, Tyler at his beautiful home in Midtown. Being the perfect host that he is, treated us to dinner and the delicious Ecco restaurant. Tyler is one of the few people who experienced the process of making you don't know what i got with me and he saw several cuts of the film before it was final.

As if our day couldn't get any better, Julie Brunzell, one of the women featured in you don't know what i got, flew all the way from Minnesota to be here with us for our screening tonight in Hapeville. We are thrilled to reconnect with each other and are looking forward to tonights events.
